Embark on a Fascinating Homeschooling Journey, Enveloped by the Magic of Nature

Homeschooling can be an incredible adventure for both parents and children. However, it can be challenging to keep the experience engaging for everyone involved. Fortunately, nature provides an ideal solution.

Nature has a way of captivating our imagination and sparking curiosity. Incorporating outdoor learning into your homeschooling routine can open up endless opportunities for exploration and discovery. From studying the life cycle of a butterfly to identifying different types of trees, the possibilities are endless.

Not only does nature offer a wealth of learning opportunities, but it also has a calming effect that can help students focus and reduce stress. Spending time outside can also improve physical fitness and overall health.

So why not take advantage of nature's enchanting qualities and create a homeschooling journey that is enveloped by its spellbinding wonders?

 Funschooling Nature Group

I created this homeschool group in 2017 to encourage children to spend more time outside in nature.  We have a great mixture of nature inspired art classes, journaling & exploring adventures, field trips, hands on learning, and much more. I thrive to instill a love of learning and encourage life long friendships. We also have a Mom's Night Out!

Funschooling takes place on Wednesdays from 1-3pm. Enrollement takes place in August & January of each year.

Funschooling Nature Classes

I offer classes on Monday's in 12-week sessions.  Classes are held at The Ark Pavilion & Nature Center in Hernando. The covered pavilion, building, and trails are located on a nature preserve in a wooded area surrounded by wildlife. We do hands on nature studies, art, nature journaling, projects, reading, and exploring nature around us.
